Orchestra auditions
Rochester Symphony is holding auditions for the following positions:
June 21, 2025: Principal Trumpet, Trumpet 3/utility, Section Horn, and brass substitute list.
June 22, 2025: Woodwind substitute list
Chorale auditions are being planned for August, 2025.
String auditions are being planned for late September, 2025.
The audition sign-up and application period is now closed. All musicians participating have been assigned an audition time and location, which was sent by email.

Rochester Symphony utilizes a blind audition process to ensure a high level of equity. Candidates will play behind a screen for a panel including the Music Director and several orchestra musicians.
